Personal experiences and my drive for seeking a profession where I can help others, has brought me onto the path of becoming a holistic health practitioner specializing in massage therapy. Throughout my ten years of experience, I have worked on a wide range of clients. I developed a broad understanding of my client’s needs and conditions. I have developed my sense of touch and awareness in feeling problem areas, inflammation, and numbness. It is my goal to help my clients. Nothing satisfies me more than hearing about my clients feeling better and more complete in their bodies.

I believe self-care is vital to maintaining the life you want. It is never one, thing that fixes you. It takes a couple of different things to fix you. The basics are eating right, exercising, and massage. When you are doing these things, along with having a good attitude, you can feel balanced and comfortable in your body. I want to be a part of your team to better health. I want to help, bring you back, to having comfort in your life and movement.

I have found that my clients benefit from a functional approach. For example, my massage sessions could include active and passive stretching, long strokes, and gasping. The therapeutic modalities I specialize include deep tissue, deep tissue sculpting, and neuro manipulation.

Holistic healing considers the whole person, body, mind, spirit, and emotions. When all of these are balanced one can experience optimal health and wellness. Everything in life needs to be done in moderation. Overworking, not moving or exercising, not eating healthy, not allowing yourself time to relax causes energy to build up and get stuck causing pain and discomfort. We store our emotions in our tissues. Over time the emotions lead to pain in certain areas, it begins to get worse as you keep on ignoring the situation. When imbalances occur in physical, emotional, or spiritual parts of our lives, it can negatively impact a person’s overall health. Bringing awareness to imbalances is the first step in healing oneself. The next step is to take action and commitment to positive change to further promote your healing.

There are many benefits of massage. Increased flexibility and range of motion, release muscle tension and stiffness, circulate the flow of blood and lymph, and promote faster healing of soft tissue injuries.
